Biografia
Edoardo Mulas (Mulase), is an artist from Cagliari who has been in activity for over 30 years.
A student of Guido Cavallo 8an artist from the period of Dino Fantini, Enzo Loi end Hoder Claro Grassi), his activity has been characterized by the constant study of Sardinian painters from after 900’s, from whom he has drawn valid tesching on figurative art in general, on the importance and fectiveness of the chromatic effect on cloth, as the corrent expression and testimony of the beauty of nature which in Sardinia assumes such strong aspects and intensity.
The constant teaching of architect Romano Antico, a man of great professional inspiration, was of great help and it was surely from him that he learnt his constructional and compositive technique for the pictorial design.
Above all, the colour remains important and gives body to the works of Edoardo Mulas, rich in intense and decisive tones, so generous as to arouse strong emotions in whoever stops to look work which demonstrates his genuine Sardinian character.
