Manick Govinda is Head of Artists' Advisory Services and Artists Producer for Artsadmin. He has worked with artists Zarina Bhimji, Zineb Sedira, Yara El-Sherbini and Franko B on major film/video installations and performance works. Govinda co-curated a series of permanent artworks by up-and-coming East London artists for the luxorious boutique hotel, Town Hall Hotel & Apartments in East London. He is a core member of the civil liberties group, The Manifesto Club, actively campaigning against the UK governments visa restrictions which are curbing the free movement of non-EU artists to the UK. He is also a non-executive director of a-n: The Artists Information Company and ArtRole. Govinda has also written for a-n, Spiked Online and on cultural politics. He also advises emerging artists - offering creative dialogue, mentoring and professional advice.
