Biografia
Chance and intention operate in equal measure in Guillermo Mora’s pieces. Isolated, precarious and contained, his proposals question the purity and impurity of the act of painting, coming from a daily process of trial and error.
With a BFA from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a MFA from the Universidad Europea de Madrid, he has been granted to study at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and obtained the Grant for Postgraduate studies of La Caixa Foundation in 2008 and the Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome in 2010. He is represented by the galleries FORMATO COMODO (Madrid), Casa Triangulo (Sao Paulo) and Extraspazio (Rome).
