Biografia
I investigate identity, migrations and inequalities. My work doesn’t aim to be a descriptive argument of reality. I create a visual analysis of how I understand the present-day social contexts. For me, art has the ability to transform reality into a sensitive experience.
By means of photography and installations, my projects analyze the crisis that has produced the model of the Western modernity. We live in a historical moment where political issues do not have only local or regional significance. These days, we co-exist in an economic dictatorship of the universalist spirit, which influence the society in all directions, causing our co-existence to transform into a place of production and consumption, beset by conflicts of all kinds: political, religious, ethnic, cultural, racial... For this reason I find it necessary to reflect on the unsustainable social disequilibrium of which we are part of.
