We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming exhibition entitled Prospettiva. It marks the end of our school year in Florence and presents a diversity of perspectives and perceptions acquired along the way. The OCAD U Florence Program was initiated in 1973 in a small studio overlooking Piazza Santa Croce and has grown into a vital component of the arts curriculum at OCAD U in Toronto, Canada. Located in the north end of Florence, the one year Studio Program focuses on art production, with on site Art History lectures in and around the city.
The term Renaissance, rooted in the concept of rebirth, speaks to the concepts of renewal, vitality and drive. This group of artists and designers has a special connection to that notion, and their artwork is a testament to their commitment. We are pleased to celebrate their achievements and the exciting directions in which they are heading with great momentum.
