Biografia
I am of Italian origin but I was born in southern Brazil (Curitiba, Paraná) and develop my work on observation of the relationship between people and animals, I like to know different cultures and whenever I travel I adding new elements in my work . The series of paintings that I present now, derives from the observation of the relationship between people and their pets. In an attempt to find common ground to justify the remarkable increase in psychological dependence approaching us from the animals, I came across the chronic lack of affection in modern society. We live in a time where little can be expected of each other, the connections between people are becoming less consistent and that checks are more relationships like "disposable". However the security needs, trust, physical and emotional presence remain. For today's society, the true affection can be purchased in PET SHOP.
The language I use in my work comes from inspiration POP ART because it fits and answers many questions theme. This time, however, the question does not address the critique of consumer society in the era of the industrial revolution but in society empty of affection and security. Today the dream consumer object is abstract affection.
The papers presented here and that makes up the PET ART series, they are all made with a technique that I developed myself, where the base is acrylic paint s / screen with digital film vinyl.
The works have in its structure in order to behave as objects of consumption. The colors in the most pure, lightweight material, the vinyl luster and the digital media job favorably emphasize the intention of the proposal.
