Biography
Training:
Federico Boriani studied Art History at Alma Mater Studiorum (D.A.M.S. department) in Bologna.
After an early experience as art curator with Mauro Manara from "Pneuma" Gallery in Castel S. Pietro Terme he moved to Milan and received a Masters degree from Scuola Politecnica di Design.
Professional Experiences:
Since 2005 he lives in Milan and works as freelance graphic designer for important brands and institutions such as Triennale di Milano, Mondadori, Nodus and many others.
Since 2008 he organize educational activities like workshops and conferences for private institutions and series of lectures at Politecnico di Milano.
In 2009 he co-founded the project normat with Valentina Bianchi. Besides the design profession he developed the studies in applied art, starting from the painting techniques of drawing and watercolor and lately working on non toxic printing methods.
He moves to Bologna in 2012 where he work as artist, art director and co-founder at Officine della Stampa Bologna.
