Biography

Stefano Galli was born in 1950 in Falconara Marittima and growed in the city that never stop its evolution: Milan.
Over the years of his life he has seen many changes, but one thing has tied every moment: the passion for drawing and arts.
Graduated in engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan, the artist does not show any of the classic traits of the engineers: infact he is an active person, full of imagination and curiosity.
Over the years, his painting has evolved through several stages, each one inspired by his life experiences, or by the many books he has read.
Great collector, the artist likes to surround himself by objects such as: sculptures, prints and even toys.
The stylistic parallels reminded are not enumerable for limit something already seen in his painting: surrealistic, metaphysical, naïf, unrealistic, comic, and so on.
A big source of his inspiration came from important personalities such as Sironi, Hopper, De Chirico, Moebius and others.
