Biography
Gianfranco Scafidi was born on April 24, 1976 in Melito Porto Salvo (RC). He attended the Art School “Mattia Preti” and then the Academy of Arts of Reggio Calabria, where he graduated in Sculpture Course in 1997. In 2000 he obtained the teaching qualifications of Plastic Arts, Design and Art History, and Art Education. In 2002 he began his career as a school teacher and entertainer. In parallel, he continued his artistic work, organizing and taking part in solo and collective art exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad, as an artist, a curator and an organizer.
