Biography
Trained as a painter, Wyn-Lyn’s interdisciplinary approach has since extended into video and installations. She is interested in the notions of materiality in her artistic practice. Beyond the physical matter, she sees materiality as a vehicle to reflect on place and cross-cultural encounters. Her artistic practice seeks to explore her multicultural upbringing and nomadic identity as an artist. She considers the journey as a medium, and recent years have seen her travelling to unfamiliar landscapes, with the notion that placing herself in the vast diaspora gives her the ability to see potential in the most mundane things.
