Biography
I am an expressionist by nature, and in my works I try to bring color and light to life. The main message in my art is Freedom. My interest in science and my drive to understand the meaning of existence and of everything around me are all elements that influence my art. In particular, a reference to Cosmology can be found in three of her artworks: “Il Mio Cristo”, “La Maternità” and “La danza dell’Universo”, in which human figures are suspended in a gravity less space, just like the Universe. Through the imaginary use of a “swing” over which to place her canvas, so to give life to shapes created by the movement of the swing and transforming painting in a dance of color. This way the artist is able to catch the essence of color, and to transform color in a unique experience and emotion, because every movement produces a different and unique shape and tone of color. My panting is physical, and I and the artwork become one emotionally, spiritually and physically.
