Biography
My paintings utilise multi-perspectives inversions of aerial views in juxtaposition with skylines of corresponding landscapes creating a relationship that combines our usual point of view with one that is more awe-inspiring. The iconic sharp masculine structures relish in the unnatural and technological but conversely have indexical dribbles that flow throughout. The disruption of hard-edge city alludes to my desire for the sense of natural beauty in today’s citadel. My work questions the spiritual ramifications of living in a contemporary cities and searches for a modern experience of the sublime.
