Biography
My photographic creation of images is leisurely. Opposed to the aesthetics of the instantaneous because my belief is that if photography was only served to catch the moment, it would be failing in its immense possibilities.
Photographic Images have dialectics making contact with the event, narrative or chronicle, because photography is not in itself a statement, but it can be considered to be anything that has relation with a statement.
With the integration of possibilities surrounding photography in cinematography, liberates and enriches the photographic work of its representation as documentation. Transmitting in part the poetical structure of cinema to a lone image that is now viewed as a still.
My photography is transmitted in a reserved symmetry from the mind, sometimes to whispers or with closed eyes. Constructed from memory, from the wonderful chaos of knowledge, the recollections, dreams and desires, thus making the ephemeral and intangible destination .... in another reality.
