Biography
Burim is an American-Albanian Contemporary Photographer. He specialized Photography in New York, NYI. Co-founder of PACK - Photo Arts Collective of Kosova and organizer of DOKUFEST - International Documentary and Short Film Festival. Curator of :"Gjon Mili Prize-2004" - International photography Contest in National Art Gallery in Prishtinë, Kosova, DOKUFOTO 2003, 2004and 2005 International Festival of Documentary Photography in Prizren, Kosova. Opened several individual photography exhibitions in USA and Kosova. Nowadays, Burim is Comercial and Documentary Photographer and Photography Editor in EXPRESS - Daily Newspaper, teaches photography classes and workshops and doing curatorial work. Participated in Juries of Film Festivals and juried in photography contests. Serving as a regional Liaison Officer of FIAP - Federation International de l'Art photographique. He resides and works in Connecticut, USA.
