Biography
Cherie Chong works in diverse forms of multimedia. Her work includes photography, oil painting, Chinese calligraphy and text. In Cherie’s photographs, it is instead depicted fully enmeshed in the conditions in and on which it exits in the world her camera emphasizes both uniqueness and contingency. Uniquely skilled at depicting objects as they are experienced and time as it felt.
