Biography
Andrea Galli is a freelance photographer based in Tuscany, italy, where he was born in 1982.
He approached photography as autodidact in 2008, when he bought his first SLR camera.
Having regard to his growing interest in social reportage, in 2011 he enrolled in a course in photojournalism organized by the school of professional photography "Shoot Institute" in Bologna.
And it is with "Saper far ridere", the final project of this course, that in September 2011 he won the first prize in the contest organized by the association Photoaid.
Some of his works have been published in "D di Repubblica".
he currently lives and works in Pisa.
