Biography
Danielle Villicana is an American artist, art dealer, and collector. She is the Founder and CEO of VILLICANA gallery, an art gallery and artist agency headquartered in Pasadena, California. She is also the founder and artistic director of Via Cavour 85, an experimental space for contemporary art in Arezzo, Tuscany, and VI DA Studios, her atelier with locations in Arezzo and Florence.
Born in San Francisco and raised in Pasadena and Laguna Beach, she earned a B.A. in Art History and the Visual Arts from Occidental College in 1994 and a Diploma in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts (Accademia di Belle Arti) in Rome in 2006.
Danielle has been actively promoting contemporary art and culture since 2010, organizing over 130 exhibitions and numerous cultural events, as well as creating more than 50 artist catalogues and monographs.
