Biography
I work in the Field of Fine Arts ,mostly doing paintings, etchings, clay objects connected with large scale drawings that i combine in private space ( exhibition´s space etc.) and public spaces ( Parks, small green areas, WoodBox Hauses outside etc).
My projects are mostly connected with the perception of identity in a public space.
My little clay objects are inside and outside a public space and they partecipate to the environment , getting integreted with it , the people can touch them, use them, wear them, play with them...... whatever its allowed to do with them.... nobody can say nothing... they are there as a simbolic presence non presence....
I started doing my first drawings and then paintings when i was very young around 13-14 years old at the artistic Lyceum in Naples... and then i continued after quite a long break when i was 26 years old at the Art Academy in Naples... where i was studying in a Painting Depertment.
There i started to use Oil Colours on Canvases doing lots of Colorfield Streips Paintings and parallele experimenting with etchings on Zink Support, using quite different kind of materials ( Textil, Plastic Gloves, etc).
In Juli 2006 i came in Berlin for my first exhibition at Rathaus Schoneberg, and since then i´m living in Berlin and finishing my study at the Udk ( Universität der Kunste) in a painting class by Prof. Robert Lucander.
I entered as a student at Udk in 2008, in these 4 years, i was doing quite different things... starting with paintings on Oil on different Size ...with more an expressionistic approach i would say, then a project with drawing books, where i use to write in italian my toughts , sometimes connected with the image sometimes not.
Since last September 2011, i started to work also with clay and i did a series of new works, called “ Animal Collective“!
They are coming from my drawings mostly... the, colours, the shapes, remind me to them.. and to the world i describe inside of it.
