Biography
I seek to create time-based visual possibilities that are concerned with the nature of painting itself.
The sometimes multi layered surfaces of the paintings suggest a historicity and a narrative within the process of the practice where as other times the lightness and playfulness of the marks generate a memory-like ambiguity that intrigues the eye. My practice has never been a set procedure; conversely it has become a play of invention, chance and repetition that organically modifies itself and evolves in time.
