Biography
Luz Ángela Lizarazo (Bogotá ,1966) has participated in several solo and group exhibitions, highlighting the following in recent years: “La Cuarta Cordillera “ at the Mor- Charpentier Gallery (París, 2011); "Celosías , Estéticas de la Paranoia" Cartagena – España and at the Magda Bellotti Gallery (Madrid, 2010); "Siete Murales Efímeros" – NCE Arte (Bogotá, 2010); "Regreso, Arte Latinoamericano y Memoria" at the Casa de América de Madrid (2009); "O Dibuxo porDiante" at the Centro Gallego de Arte Contemporáneo (Santiago de Compostela, 2008), among many others. She was selected to be part of the shortlist for the Premio Luis Caballero with her project "De Tripas Corazón” (2006). Her work is characterized for musing on issues around fragility, the dycotomy between private and public, interactions with urban spaces and others. Her work sits between two worlds: the realm of intimacy and the world outside.
