Biography
Present'Art Community is a community dedicated to the various forms and languages of art; it aims to provide support and visibility to those who gravitate around the world of arts and culture: artists, designers, gallery owners, curators, critics, collectors, patrons and companies.
The Present'Art Community was created by Present Contemporary Art, a Chinese company based in Shanghai, and the Italian Present Art Collectors and Patrons Association. The Community is an important opportunity to address the Chinese public; it is a bridge of communication and cultural and economic exchange between China and the West.
The long standing activity and experience of Present Contemporary Art – which involves in its projects important personalities from the worlds of art, culture and economics, collaborating with experts from different socio-economic sectors and public and private institutions – makes Present'Art Community a reference point and a functional medium for creating synergies and international work opportunities.
Among the main goals of the Community there is the purpose to give voice to the various art expressions, to provide visibility and support to people who work in this field, and the will to create an international showcase to encourage people who work in both the Chinese and the International art scene.
Besides being an useful platform of information and opportunities, Present'Art Community also provides a range of services offering a practical support to its members for their daily professional activities.
