Biography

I am an interdisciplinary artist using language, photography and intervention to respond to my surroundings. What starts out as a casual observation can become a dialogue with a space or an object in the space.

A large part of my art practice is text-based. I’m drawn to literature, poetry especially and the often concentrated quality of poems is a constant my visual work.

I also mine everyday situations, disciplines such as physics, as well as my own lexicon for words and phrases to make experimental texts with, these are turned into publications, slotted into the public sphere, or performed live.

My interest lies in working intuitively to create new (linguistic) spaces and invite the viewer to be in dialogue with my ideas.
