Biography
As if sent away by the Draunara - the storm that plummets the Sicilian island of Lampedusa – thousands of migrants arrive, having desperately left behind their motherland of Africa. “In my work, the stories are those guiding me in selecting the ideal instrument to respond to that creative rush, which has always been accompanying me”. And so the video, photography,
documentaries, reportages mark her path. Having received different international awards, she is one of the interpreters of the social distress in some of the most troubled places: from the Palestinian refugee camps in Liban, to AIDS prevention campaigns in Africa. Her experience includes various television programmes she wrote and conducted, such as Citizen Report and I Nuovi Mille, and diverse collaborations with Italian magazines.
