Biography
Lamarche-Ovize started collaborating in 2006, and have over the years developed a complex language that borrows its syntax from various sources such as comics, literature and art historical references. Their work embraces the everyday, with its objects, textures, colours and smells in over-drive. They intensely explore their living environment through their work whilst revisiting classical subjects such as portraiture or still life through exuberant drawings, collages, sculptures and posters.
