Biography
In 2008 I moved to Budapest to study at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts where I obtained an MA in painting. My influences included mainly the New Leipzig School (Neo Rauch, Rosa Loy,Matthias Weischer) and also Peter Paul Rubens, Paula Modersohn and Gerhard Richter.
At the University beneath the painting classes I studied aesthetic, art history , art pedagogie and art psychology.
For a year (2011-2012) I was the curator for an exhibition program which specialized in presenting the art of the University’s students. During this one year session I managed 10 exhibitons at the Körönd Gallery (which unfortunatley closed after in 2012.)
In 2012, I founded the Zim Zum Group with fellow artists. Zim Zum is the well-known phrase of our professor Zsigmond Károlyi. “ You all shell paint like” zim zum”!” The group had several exhibitions in Budapest (Hu, 2012) ,Prague (CZ,2012), Martfű (HU,2013) and in Debrecen (HU, 2014)
This year in January I had my first solo show „Hundred times broken spell” in Budapest ,organised by the Pepper Art Projects. Pepper Art Projects is a non-profit organization which was established in Budapest in 2011. Their mission is to support young emerging visual artists with PR and financing. From this year, 2014 they take me as one of their official artist.
