Biography
The direction of my work is still to be determined, yet through the journey of my life I can see where I have come, which helps be to be enlightened on where I am going. I was born in October of 1986, in upstate New York but my parents quickly moved down to Hollywood, Florida, where I currently live. Art was not conscientiously pursued by any members of my family, however, my father has quite a natural gift with illustration and painting. He has never been taught but has completed a few pieces over the time of his life. While growing up, I had a fascination with the Lonely Tunes. I started drawing them at the age of 6. As you can imagine, Disney was a large part of my childhood here in America, so I also continued to draw Disney characters primarily throughout elementary school and through middle school. I then started to paint little customized key holders for my classmates in high school. While in school, I did not have any formal training in art until I was at the college level, so I do consider myself self-taught. I started out my college career at the University of Central Florida and started my studies concentrating on Art Education.
