Biography
My background in traditional fine art schooling and my years as a graphic designer drives a unique approach to my surrealistic imagery. I am excited to have created something that feels uniquely me—mixing my love for surrealism and my deep study of graphic design together. The technique forces the ink lines to flow like a topography map and never cross over. There are only lines, no other traditional pen and ink techniques, such as cross hatching or stippling. My sources and inspiration are typically from my life experience. I often think ‘pain is art’ and attempt to self-heal or process my emotions thorough the symbolism in my work.
