Biography
Khairul Rahimi is a visual artist currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he is currently attending Pratt Institute as a graduate student, focusing on digital animation and motion arts.
His artistic practices in animation are a combination of both 2D and 3D, creating a coherently hybrid style that seamlessly weaves both dimensions together. Breaking free from the mainstream style of 3D animation, he prefers to use simple polygons, unconventional characters, and visual effects as the main focus of his animations, often telling stories that portrays real human emotions in a surrealistic manner.
