Biography
My work stems from a need for direct communication with people and an admiration for the mundane. My creative practice is a multidisciplinary cross between performance art, video, and installation. I use humor; I mingle theatrical elements with essential familiar actions, always trying to find a space in which public and private experiences converge, a place where fantasy and reality coexist. I am interested in finding a a common vocabulary that technology and traditional art can share. Thus a feather becomes breath and light, a bathtub a rescue boat and a subway cart a living room.
My work is sensitive, combining a childlike point of view with a dark side and a tendency to questioning. With my performances I try to be the medium that changes human interaction and dissolve the social boundaries that we have.
By using elements from many different disciplines, I explore their different relationships and the boundaries of each one.
