Biography
Looking at his works means exploring the deep of his soul. Passion, surge, suffering, obsession, human bonds are the bases of his poetry. A desperate research of an ego lost and found in figure as strings and hidden faces. His longing is to come back in placenta, the deep of nature body, where he can find a repair from a too much aggressive and intolerable reality.
The artist tries to find a shelter in his art by using everything his search finds, he testes new techniques, his password is changing and never stop creating. He uses metals, plasters, oil colors, charcoal sticks, even shoes polish to shade off forms created in rush with the passion of a painter that lives in a complete way his condition of man and artist.
A recurrent subject is destruction, better if it is made by lava, so close to his geographic, historic and cultural condition. His pictures are like open wounds from where life can come off. He makes often self-portraits since he starts from himself, from his condition to reach mind states and sensation objectivity. An intimate research that tries to spread off to include human feeling and becoming.
