Biography
My name is Micaela Mattioli, and I am an artist working in the field of abstraction.
In my acrylic paintings, I explore gesture, color, and emotion as primary languages, allowing the material to follow the impulse of the moment.
Each work is born from an inner dialogue — a need to translate sensations into signs, rhythms, and contrasts of light.
My creative process is instinctive and sensorial: it does not aim to tell a story but to evoke an emotion, an echo, a presence.
I believe that art truly lives in encounters — the one between the artist and the canvas, and the deeper one between the artwork and the observer.
