Biography
Laura a.k.a. Optika VJ, is a Colombian visual artist dedicated to direct and produce live visuals projects. She produces herself and runs her own laboratory "Optikal Ink Lab". Since 4 years ago Laura has been working on art based on video projection and light designing video mapping projects, stages and creating live visuals in different festivals like Mapping festival (CH), Vision'R (FRA) Live Performers Meeting (ITA) and VJ University (BRA) , mixing in clubs like REX club in Paris and TRESOR in Berlin and performing in countries like Brazil, Colombia, Spain and Hungary.
Lately in 2012 and 2013, she has been working on intervention of public spaces and video guerrilla in collaboration with film producers, photographers and painters. She is part of the United VJ's, an International team of artists with partners Brazil and Europe performing around the world.
