Biography
Prantik Basu is a film and video artist from Calcutta. Mostly docu-fiction in form, the recurring themes in his work are memory, myths and environment. He studied film direction and screenwriting at Film and Television Institute of India. His short films and videos have been screened and awarded at various national and international festivals including Mumbai International Film Festival, International Film Festival of India, Experimenta India, Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, Rome Cinema Fest.
