About sculpture network
sculpture network is an international non-profit organisation which focuses on contemporary sculpture. It was founded in 2004 and is led by international private initiative.
sculpture network provides an international and interdisciplinary platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences for all those interested in art and sculpture – from the artist to the recipient.
Target groups:
- Artists (mostly working three dimensional)
- Art Intermediaries (museums, sculpture parks, galleries, curators, art organisations, institutions, art historians, architects, et al.)
- Art recipients (friends of the art, collectors, patrons, et al.)
sculpture network’s goal is to support the art of sculpture, to increase the general understanding and appreciation of sculpture and, therewith, to enhance the overall creative environment for sculptors.
sculpture network’s vision is to become the competence centre for sculpture in Europe
sculpture network presently has over 550 members in 27 different countries who belong to the above mentioned target groups.
