Biography
My artistic research part in the early 70 °. After the first approaches matter, I have done some work centred on the concept of "time" and "identity", using mainly the photo image. Works heavily influenced by contemporary conceptual atmosphere that still makes my job. For all the years 80 ° and 90 ° I dedicated to illustration that I get several awards. In recent years I have taken interest in artistic research. In my work I try to interpret the tensions of the contemporary world, its values and put its contradictions, blueprints and anxieties that generates; or rather the effects they have on me. I'm interested in aspects such as Robotics, randomness, rehearsals, changes. I try to produce images that are not purely aesthetic (indeed the aesthetics I don't care at all) but which give rise to a moment of reflection. I love working with the photo image or digital because it allows me to a certain detachment. I am interested to roam between different types of work, like the video and installations. in this regard I have many projects in the pipeline. Lately I returned to painting; I'm working ironically on the idea of abstract painting, on seriality, and randomness of numerical concepts. My images have always a conceptual basis, so my themes depart from a reflection that tends to dig on the meaning of art, painting, sign, Word, etc. So for me, painting is a method of analysis and criticism of painting itself.
