Biography
Phaptawan Suwannakudt completed a Master of Visual Art at Sydney College of the Arts, The University of Sydney. She worked extensively on full-scale temple schemes and hotel decoration projects in Thailand in the 1980s and 1990s and has also been active in the organization of women’s art exhibitions in Bangkok.
Phaptawan has held many solo exhibitions in Sydney, Bangkok and Melbourne. Most recently; Three Worlds in 2009 at ARC One Gallery, Melbourne; Catching the Moment: Each Step is the Past, at 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art, Sydney in 2010 and; Locution-(re)-Location, at 100 Tonson Gallery, Bangkok in 2011
