Biography
American born author Alexis Debary moved to Europe as a child, took her GCEs in Southern Spain and studied Literature and History in Northern Germany. In 1994 she had her first exhibition of paintings inspired by a nine month trip to India. Ever since she has worked as a visual artist, run an modern art gallery and taught English while continuing to travel extensively. Several of her travel features have been published on-line.
Djerba Nights is her first novel. Alexis is currently writing her second book, Moon over Mumbai, and lives in Hamburg with her two daughters.
