Biography
Born in Pavia, I'm 26, I live and work between Pavia and Milan. I just graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera (Milan) in scenography with a thesis about the director Mario Martone and a dramaturgic-spatial project developed between Teatro Garibaldi of Palermo and the ex swimming pool Caimi of Milan. I had a multi-disciplinary training: from drawing to painting, from acting to directing, from photography to performance, from light design to a basic knowledge of sound and video editing. I have collaborated with the director Loredana Putignani from 2007 to nowadays, with whom I did three performances as performer, visual artist and graphic designer (“Sonorous Plasters Digital Sindons”, 2010; “Theorem 33 Paradise”, 2011; “Wasted Lives”, 2014). I collaborated with director Giacomo Agosti in the creation of two operas (“Wozzeck” by A. Berg and “Madama Butterfly” by G. Puccini) and events for the Fuorisalone of Milan 2010. I participated in collective exhibitions in Bari (X National Prize of Arts), Rome, Milan and Parma. Winner of the second prize at the competition “The Fan of the President”, called by the Press Association of the Parliament of the Italian Republic for the 2010 edition. I have also been assistant, video editor and projectionist for open classes held by prof. L. Putignani at the Academy of Brera in occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the death of the actor-director and artist Antonio Neiwiller, and lectures by Luca Ronconi (interviewed by Antonio Calbi) at the Brera Academy and Palazzo Reale (Milan) in the occasion of the Festival della Regia in 2014. Over the years I have collaborated for the shows “The bears' famous invasion of Sicily” (by D. Buzzati, 2013) by Marco Baliani at the Hall Santa Cecilia in Rome's Parco della musica, and for “The cherries’ garden” (from A. Cechov, 2012) directed by Francesco Micheli at the Teatro Ringhiera of Milan (at the Teatro Franco Parenti -Mi - in 2013). In 2010 I did, in collaboration with visual artist and costume designer Gisella Cappelli, the video-scenography / performance for one of the concerts during the Festival Chopin / Schumann at the Conservatory G. Verdi in Milan.
